The stones on the floor are separated by a board, usually cement grout. As in most of the options that we so far, the choice is yours alone.
The warm stones can be very closely united, undivided almost. The others tend to have a separation. But it’s all a matter of taste and there is no rule to follow.
This depends on the size of the project we do. Keep in mind, however, that large tiles help give the feeling that the environment is bigger, so if you’re working in a very small, you may want to use large tiles.
In general, people think that if the area is smaller, it is better to use smaller tiles to make a better installation. This is not true, but any type of tile can be installed perfectly. Just keep in mind that the tile girl shrinks the large space and enlarges it.
The patterns can be used for tile installation are many. Find a lot of pre-designed patterns and that we can choose if you want. But if we are not satisfied with any of them you better do your own, random, using different types and sizes of tiles for their realization.
If the pattern is fixed, it is easier to install and much easier to calculate the amount of material used. But do not be afraid to work a little harder to achieve the effects we want. After all, better that we remain fully compliant with the final result that we do not have to work so much but hate.
A good trick is to mask the joints of the tiles using a color similar to the stone for them. This conceals sketchy laying patterns and highlights the stone itself, which is the most beautiful of all.
