Starting with the kitchen we must first work out exactly what we need the kitchen for. That’s simple it is for storing and preparing food. Therefore we must have enough cupboards and worktop space. If you are the kind of person who likes kitchen gadgets you must ensure that you have enough space so it may need to be designed to increase the worktop. This will make it easier to prepare food. There is also a large need for storage. The best way to do this is a combination of floor units and head height units.

The living room is fairly easy. With a television as the vast majority of us have we need sofas and chairs to sit on. This is a balancing act between the number of people in the house and the size of the room. You may also benefit from CD and DVD storage units which come in a number of shapes and designs.
